As it is clear from the name of the software, Comodo Back up is a freeware program that can backup your files.
This program works with Windows 2000 and Windows XP platforms. To backup your files you should enter the name of the file, its source and destination folder. Comodo has 5 modes of backup. The first one is called Simple Copy it just copies your files from source place to destination one and keeps them there. The second one, Simple Move, just moves your files from source folder to destination folder so you don't have them in source folder. The next 2 modes are Copy and delete outdated files and Move and delete outdated files, the sense is almost the same as in the first 2 ones, but in these cases any outdated files are removed. Note that after using Move and delete outdated files you won't be able to restore removed files. And the last one is Synchronization mode. In this mode Comodo saves all the changes you do to source files in destination folder in real time. Moreover you can backup files to a local or network drive, to FTP-server, to CD-RW/DVD-RW drives. Also with Comodo Backup you can save disk space by compressing your backups to ZIP files, send E-mail reports to team members about the status of a backup job, schedule backups to fit your timetable.
So this program just copies all your files to a safe place and keeps all the changes you make to them.
